I just got back from the Christmas Bazaar at the Irish American Heritage Center. There were lots of vendors, lots of bagpipes, drums, and Guinness. It was an incredibly successful day for me here, and I just want to say thank you, thank you, THANK YOU – to all who came out to this show, as well as the Honeycraft Holiday Market in Woodstock yesterday. Thank you also to everyone who has purchased from my Etsy shop over the past few weeks, and to those who’ve ordered commissions. I don’t think I have the words to say how much your support has affected me, but it has – in a most positive way, and I’m very grateful to you!
I’m also really wiped out!
Since today’s show went so well, my inventory has significantly decreased! However, that’s not to say it will stay that way. It won’t! I have lots of work to do still!
So if you haven’t had a chance to check my stuff out “live,” there are shows to come:
- Next Saturday, December 9th, I’ll be at the Handmade Market Chicago gig at the Empty Bottle Lounge from 12-4 pm, and…
- Sunday, December 17th, I’ll be at the Hyde Park Artisans Bazaar at the Promontory, also from 12-4 pm. Finally…
- I’ll be at the Hideout Inn’s Last Chance Holiday Show on Wednesday, December 20th from 6 pm-9 pm. Please note that the Hideout show will only feature my ice-dyed wares, no knits. (I’m hoping to drag my daughter to the Hideout show so at least you might get a chance to meet her!) All of these events are in Chicago.
And as always, my Etsy shop will be open, and I’ll be posting new items regularly.
Apologies for the short blog post this week, but it’s already 4:30 and I have to get knitting!!
